Alu Clad Timber, Aluminium Doors Bi fold doors / Bi Folding doors, Aluminium Sliding Doors, Aluminium Folding Doors, Internal Door, Folding Door, Sliding Door, Concertina Door, Suppliers
Firstly, clad bifolding doors are a great choice if you require different colours on the outside and inside. You can easily remove the cladding to repaint, varnish or switch wood species entirely. The external aluminium frame is low-maintenance and easy to clean.
Secondly, aluminium is incredibly tough and durable. If you require a folding door that is tougher than wood, aluminium is the choice for you. In areas which are exposed to high levels of sunlight aluminium does not fade or weather. With a clad sliding door, you can have the appearance of wood inside, but the strength and durability of aluminium, without having to make compromises deciding between the two. Some clad bifold doors have visible nailed on glazing beads and appear very poorly put together. They don't come with the option of easily being able to clip off the cladding to change it. In fact, most clad systems are wooden with aluminium clad. They are bulky, with gaps which allow condensation to build up, which can lead to mould and rot. The aluminium cladding is clipped on, resulting in a lower security. By combining two techonologies we can offer you the unique AluClad bfiolding system. Aluminium and timber combined offers a strong, durable and maintenance free finish outside while still providing the warmth and character that timber brings inside. The aluminium-timber construction protects wood from environmental influences such as wind, rain and UV rays. The main advantage this system has, that it offers the insulating qualities of timber with the weather resistance of aluminium to create maintenance free Grade A thermally efficient structure. AluClad bifolds can be made in any configuration either opening outwards or inwards depending on the space and the location of the opening. |
